Morning View cadre un paysage urbain (New York) sur lequel le soleil se lève. L’image est un feuilleté d’espaces en continuel va-et-vient sur l’extérieur et l’intérieur. Le montage crée une temporalité fictiveoù se confondent la vue et les reflets dans la vitre.
Le son, traité en “nappe” à partir d’une cellule prélevée sur un largo de Vivaldi, dramatise ces effets visuels.

Morning View frames an urban landscape (New York) upon which the sun is rising. The image presents itself as a layering of spaces in continual back-and-forth between outside and inside. The editing creates a fictional temporality where the view is confused with reflections in a window.
Taken from an infinitesimal note in a largo by Vivaldi and treated in layers, the sound dramatizes the visual effects.
